2024 Update
- Collaborated to develop, submit, and earn approval for UTM’s proposal to create new space for Black students.

- Working with UTM Dean of Student Affairs and Assistant Principal, Student Services and VP Academic and Dean to identify and develop space(s) that support Black students at UTM.

Meeting with UTM Black student leaders and student groups
2024 Update
- Continued to meet with, and serve as a confidential resource for, Black student leaders and groups and employees to listen to concerns, build meaningful relationships, and advance effective solutions.
- Provided advice on strategies to address anti-Black racism, including through ongoing work on UTM’s anti-Black racism operational group and with Black @ UTM.
