2024 Update

• The department has undergone an external climate and culture review. The findings will be released to the Economics community in the next few weeks.
• We have improved communication regarding the recognition for EDI-related activities in the PTR process.

• Planning to organize a departmental student survey, including equity questions about enrolment of Black students in first and subsequent years.
• Aiming to work with UTM’s OVPAD and other partners to better understand how departmental equity patterns intersect with campus-wide trends.
