2024 Update
- Continued to host students for the summer research opportunity program as a pathway to academia for Black, Indigenous, and racialized scholars: projects supervised in our department comprise more than 28% of total program participation across U of T’s tri-campus.
- Continued to contribute to U of T’s Sprint program, which connects Black and racialized high school students with research experiences in psychology.
- Submitted request to OVPAD to fund this program as a base budget commitment.
- Continued to include anti-colonial and non-Western perspectives, alongside research by Black psychologists, in undergraduate psychology classes.
